a little neon in my life.

so here's another outfit post this week. i wanted to post a different kind of post today to keep things more interesting but as i said here, i won't put any pressure on my self. so this is what i got, and it is what it is.
now about this dress which i just love love love. i specifically love the racer back and the neon with grey. i added a colorful sports bra because i just happened to have one that matched. i think i loved this dress because it reminded me of  this dress when i saw it hanging at the zara sales rack. except it's a more summery, relaxed version. which is perfect for the hot weather we've been suffering! as my friend brooke says: bah hambug at this nasty weather. but yay for this adorable dress i scored at zara.

what i wore...

this is what i wore to church this weekend. i don't know what my obsession with blazers are lately but i seem to throw one on with every outfit possible. even when it's beyond hot outside you may still catch me in a blazer.
i had a great weekend. after traveling with the hubs for two weeks i was ready to settle down at home and spend some qt with the family. we went to my parents house sunday for a bbq during the day, and when the sun went down we all went for a walk. there were so many laughs. it was such wonderful time spent with the best people in the world. i love home. i love family.

well, hello again.

i've taken a small vacation from my blog. and i've contemplated coming back many times and have talked myself out of it, because of lack of time or a camera. but i realized i keep making excuses because the reality is, it's a lot of work! it requires a good amount of time and sometimes i just don't have it. but i've realized that there are no rules when it comes to my blog. its my voice, my ideas and i won't put pressure on myself because of it. so here i go again venturing into this blog sphere. let me catch you up on what's been going on.

Husband's Birthday Weekend

Hello friends!

Sorry I've been a little MIA lately. It's been crazy lately and I'm also in the midle of finals {which will be over in a week, hooray!}

Anyways, for husband's birthday I decided to plan a special weekend for him. The plan was for us to go to a Wolf Mountain Winery, have lunch at their delicious cafe outlooking the beautiful GA mountains, enjoy some of their delicious wines, and relax in the nice chilly weather. I booked the night at a small B&B in the mountains so we wouldn't have to drive back after so much wine. 

The weekend  was perfect! The food was delish and the wine was goooo-oood.

We also met this cute couple and we instantly became friends. {We ended up going to dinner with them that night and had a really good time!}
